Bailey Law Group represents heliport owner in a Fifth Amendment Takings claim when the heliport was forced to close after 9/11
As a result of the events of September 11, 2001, a Washington, D.C. heliport was forced to close losing millions of dollars in revenue. Bailey Law Group represented the heliport owner in a Fifth Amendment Takings case against the federal government for his losses. However, now that Congress has allocated money to reimburse these owners for their losses, Bailey Law Group is working with the Department of Transportation to ensure that the heliport owner receives all money due to him as a result of the closure.
